Science

At Mount Rowan Secondary College, Science develops students’ curiosity and understanding of the world around them. The program encourages investigation, questioning and critical thinking.

Students learn through four key areas:

Biological Sciences

Students explore living things and how they interact with each other and the environment.

Chemical Sciences

Students learn about materials, substances and chemical changes.

Physical Sciences

Students investigate forces, energy and motion.

Earth and Space Sciences

Students study Earth systems, space and environmental processes.

VCE Pathways

In the senior years, students may study VCE Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Psychology, supporting pathways into health, science, engineering and related fields.
