Extra Curricular

Mount Rowan Secondary College offers a range of student leadership opportunities that empower students to have a voice and make a positive contribution to school life.
Instrumental music tuition is available at Mount Rowan on a withdrawal basis of one period per week.
Our school production provides students with an exciting opportunity to be involved in a large-scale performing arts experience.
Each year students from most year levels are offered the opportunity to attend a camp.
At Mount Rowan we understand that not all learning takes place in the classroom and that most young people also enjoy being involved in a wider range of learning opportunities and extension activities than is readily available in the curriculum program.
The focus of Makerspace at Mt. Rowan Campus is to create an environment in which students from various year levels with shared interests in computing and technology can gather to work on projects, share ideas, and experience a range of technological equipment. It is designed to encourage students to think creatively and develop STEM based skills to tackle problem-solving activities.
We have teams entering the competition each year. The students can experience the thrill of driving the trikes of a 24 hour competition.
Regardless of its name, the Filipino Social Club is open to ALL students with an interest in Filipino culture.
