Humanities

At Mount Rowan Secondary College, Humanities helps students understand the world, their place in it and their role as informed citizens. The program builds knowledge of past and present societies.

Students learn through key areas including:

History and Geography

Students explore historical events, places and environments, and learn how people interact with the world around them.

Civics, Economics and Business

Students develop understanding of government, citizenship, money and decision-making.

VCE Pathways

In the senior years, students may study VCE subjects such as History, Business Management and Legal Studies, supporting a wide range of career pathways.
