Languages (Spanish)

Languages learning supports students to communicate confidently and understand the world beyond their own community. Our Spanish program builds skills in language, culture and global awareness.

Students learn through four key areas:

Listening and Speaking

Students develop skills to understand spoken Spanish and communicate clearly in everyday situations.

Reading and Viewing

Students read and view a range of texts in Spanish to build vocabulary, comprehension and confidence.

Writing

Students learn to write in Spanish for different purposes, developing accuracy and expression.

Intercultural Understanding

Students explore Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions and perspectives, helping them develop respect for cultural diversity.
