In Years 7–9, students explore core science concepts through hands-on learning and investigation. From Year 9, our elective subjects are designed to engage students’ interests and help them discover their pathways toward senior studies. In Year 10, our Science electives are specifically designed to enhance and prepare students for their VCE studies in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Psychology, and Environmental Science — giving them the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in these areas.

Across all year levels, students take part in a range of enriching excursions and learning experiences at the Ballarat Tech School, Ecolinc Centre in Bacchus Marsh, and the Quantum Science Centre at La Trobe University — connecting classroom learning to real-world science.
